Minicab driver died after his cab overturned


A MAN has died and another was injured after a minicab overturned on the M25 near Enfield and Potters Bar

The crash happened between junctions 24 and 25 at around 7.30am on Saturday, August 25 on the anti-clockwise carriageway. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

At 8.30am the 33-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe they know the man’s identity but are awaiting formal identification. The next of kin have not yet been informed and a post-mortem is still to be performed.

His only passenger, a man in his 40s or 50s was taken to an east London hospital where he is still being treated. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police are continuing their inquiries into the crash.
