Today I came across a picture in the estate agents of a house with a vintage taxi outside. I think it's an FX3, but I'm not sure.

Whatever it is, it's probably more reliable than a Euro7

And there Fairway goes off in a direction to have a bash at peugeots! lol

Okay, we had a eurocab, got rid of it in December 04, with 360,000 trouble free miles, it was still returning over 37 mpg, now I personally own a TX2 silver automatic, with a lovely ford engine. I cannot get more than 25 mpg.

The E7 is coming to a London street near you soon.

As for your picture it certainly looks like the rear of an FX3, but could be a beardmore.

Are you an actual Taxi driver Fairway, or a Taxi spotter?

360'000 miles captain, thats mighty impressive, spoke with Cab Direct today, they are sending a brochure for the E7, an auto version will be available soon I was assured for about £1k more, watch this space.
In fact watch LTI's price drop . . . .

we traded it in for another at 360,000, the old girl was coming up to 4 years old and due retirement (in our opinion) plus the repayments were cheaper with a new vehicle than the old one! (go figure)

I think in all honesty the competition is good for LTI, if it wasnt for the competition we'd all be running around in FX3's eusasmiles.zip

Yikes! I thought my 45'000 per annum was a lot. (thats miles not pounds)

Yes, very intrested in the E7, I do a lot of Heathrow / Night work, so it would make sense, it would give old Blobby and Ollies vehicles a run for their money. :lol:

I would miss the turning cicle, but not £10k's worth of turning circle.

It's a Beardmore and it's in Wallasey off Seabank Road, It's partialy restored and there is a fully restored one in Taxifix show room in Liverpool :D
