Says the man with all the answers ? Its not personal, you really are insignificant to me. I do hope you sold your plate for next to nothing, as you only think of your collegues dont you ? You wouldnt be in this job for money would you ?

Wish I did have all the answers.

But removing taxi restrictions will reduce many of the questions.

Questions such as why cant i pick up off the street ? Or of a rank ? Answer "because i sold my plate" simple . Now i dont have all the answers, but deregulation isnt for the good of the trade thats for sure. The majority of the larger cities and countries have found this out to their detriment.Be carefull what you wish for ( and i dont mean a new mondeo) !

I'm sure if the vested interests convince the LC that free for all is the best way, then I'm sure there will be MORE questions not answers.

So Sussex did you tell the poor sap that you sold your plate too that it may become worthless?? And that you have a hand in it?

Ok I'm prepared to stay PH for good.

Now what about the 10s of 1000s of licensed drivers that have never been issued plates? What excuse have you got to stop them?

I have a hand in it.

Firstly your co-conspirator from Blackpool says I'm irreverent (which is the truth) and now you say the opposite. Can't both be right.

What did I say to the buyer, I said thank you.

Never mentioned you being irreverent,i said insignificant to me. Dont need any co conspiritors but im sure i agree with him more than you sorry. To me personally youve shown yourself for what you really are. You try and talk the talk and come over as someone who is moral and for the good of the trade. Where the reality is your the same as the vast majority,in it for whatever you can get .

Can any of the folks on here that believe de-restriction is the way forward hold their hands up and say they haven't had a plate from the council and sold it?
Yes 8)

Yes here as well.

Oh well I guess 2 is better than none. For the record I don't believe you should be allowed to sell them and I think that whatever loophole allows you to sell plates should be closed, again just an opinion.

Interested to hear why people can license PH on mass, but not hackney carriage.

They can because the law allows it, but, some say the law is an ass
