I've always said this, "what do you say to someone with 10 A levels"? Big Mac and fries please.

....Or the one line script that really gets to you when you're in a queue:

'Can I 'elp?'

I get annoyed at shop assistants referring to me as sir I am not a Knight of the realm I am an ordinary citizen/subject or whatever

But you have to wonder wether the van driver was being wound up could a mcdonalds assistant really be THAT THICK

eders23: The Sir is an honorific that refers to the likelihood that the person that says it is too polite to call you a Crumbly

theres a very wide margin between MATE and SIR..........how did you address teachers at school (assuming you went)

are you polite or pally with customers?

its simple etiquette, manners maketh the man and cost nothing

The biggest annoyance for me when I go into a shop, any shop is when the shop assistant comes up to you when you're just browsing and says, 'You alright?' as if I'm about to keel over, faint and die.

As if they fkucing care their ar$e!!

Then I just love the look on their face when I give it them back and say in a mildly aggressive voice staring them straight in the eyes, 'Yes thanks, are you alright?'

They don't expect the same question back.

What they really mean to say is, 'Can I be of any assistance sir?'

This morning at the burger bar whilst getting my breakfast the local nutter kept calling the girl who runs it "blossom" she was a bit peeved at this so told the nutter that it was a particular market traders birthday today and she should go and sing him happy birthday and she did much to the mirth of all around
