Having just received PHM in the post I would like to congratulate all those involved in that magazine on reaching their 20th Birthday. =D>

Quite what it will look like in another 20 years, who knows, but I wonder if it will be an on-line publication only?

Interesting bit of info made me look up, and that's the numbers showing the running mile in Birmingham was more in 1992 than it is today.

No wonder the lads up there are earning f*** all. ](*,)

Those figures are a total balls-up.

I saw the article too and I have the figure for all the Brum fares over the last 35-40 years on my computer somewhere, but I can't be ar$ed to look for them now as it's too late.

Tomorrow is another day, so I might look for them then and then again I might still be in the land of can't be ar$ed.

I think I must have read nearly every one  well sort of a lot of it is much the same and many of the articles are about incidents long since sent to the lower reaches on here.

By the way the league table relies heavily on submissions from readers and isn't all that accurate but it does serve a useful purpose. My other main criticism is that whilst they love to campaign against the local authorities they do "protect" their advertisers from criticism there are an awful lot of stories about poor service shoddy vehicles etc etc which has never appeared in their pages

Still happy Birthday PHTM

I remember having a discussion with a driver on here a little while back about the number of councils that restricted.

This driver said PHM don't ever get their numbers wrong.

Actually, now that I've spoken to Brian with a 'Y' and he has explained that all the 1992 figures are on the current cost accounting basis, I understand where he's coming from.

So the figures are correct using that basis.
