Galaxy (Ford) Allhambra (Seat) and Sharran (VW) are all the same. If I remember right the diesel versions use a ford engine, all the petrol variants have VW engines.

There is every possibility I have that all back to front.

All engines are VW AFAIK

A long time ago I had a Galaxy when still in the Royal Navy (me, not the car) - N reg - it had a ford diesel engine.

Things may well have changed now of course.

I drove a 1.7 diesel cavalier back when I was new to this game. I'm sure it had an Isusu engine

The Mk2 astra's came with both GM and Isuzu diesels the latter was the better engine

The VR6 engine is an internal combustion engine configuration, consisting of six cylinders. It was developed by the Volkswagen Group in the late 1980s, and evolutions of the original variant are still produced by them.

The Isusu was an excellent engine. Much better than the GM one. Went like sh*t off a shovel.
