Your limit would be larger than Eck's, so you must be a bigger buffoon. Now, are you really that thick or do you need to practice regularly?

BTW your the Mr Know it all....making sweeping statements like this...

Now, now...has some of Wee Ecks mantra that there can be no right opinion unless it's his opinion rubbed off on you?
Im not ridiculing your views or opinions, but you as the good wee Nat that you are seem to be having trouble in allowing others an opinion counter to your own..as Ive said before Its a Dictatorship Eck craves and there's no room in that dictatorship for disagreeable or counter Nat views on anything..

RoSPA don't share your view Bloodnock.

The drink drive limit is 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. The limit was based on evidence that the likelihood of being involved in a road accident and of injuries occurring, rises sharply at and above that level. However, the evidence also showed that most drivers are impaired, and their accident risk increases, at blood alcohol levels below this limit. Drivers who have between 50 and 80 mg per 100ml of blood are 2 to 2 ½ times more likely to crash and 6 times more likely to be in a fatal crash

But what is their opinion, compared to the overwhelming evidence of your anus?

Your problem is you believe everything that's said from anybody that says it, cant you freely formulate any independent thoughts or opinions of your own without resorting to the officials who deem everything to be bad for you unless they have an input into it.

Damn it man...Cant you see past the Diktats, the daft rules and the downright stupid nonsense that eminates from Holyrood, Rospa or any other group that tells you what to do..

Vote Independent!....If that's ok by everybody.

Sure, but there's a difference between looking at the evidence and making up your own mind and what you do.
You make up your mind first, based only on your own opinion, and ignore all evidence to the contrary.

The gospel according to bloodnock......

Gus...If you asked 10 Different Scientific research groups the same question they'ed come back with 10 wildly different answers or theories. Your assuming Scientific evidence provides a factual answer beyond questioning, Well, It doesn't, Scientific theory changes all the time, what they perceived as fact yesterday will turn up as rubbished fiction tomorrow. They only take figures and a add a dash of theory in the hope that what comes out is palatable enough to their paymasters that it will keep them in funding to come up with another theory on the same subject at a later date.

It must be right as a research center said it....The Gospel according to Gusmac.

Complete twaddle.
This half arsed thinking of yours might hold true if we were debating the origins of the universe, quantum physics or life on other planets.
But we're not. We are debating alcohol and it's effects on someone's ability to drive.
Every study, all available data and countless accidents over several decades and from all over the world, all say the same thing - Alcohol impairs a person's ability to drive. The more they have, the more it is impaired.
You are the only person I have ever known to dispute this.

BTW, most other countries have limits lower than ours, which remains unchanged since it was introduced in 1967.

Many research centres, accident investigators, police and even the people who make and sell alcohol all say it.
In fact everyone except you.

I think there was a study that showed a small amount of alcohol actually sharpens your senses and increases reaction times, but obviously anything over this amount has the opposite effect.

If you want a conspiracy theory regarding scientific studies think of this ; Considering the amount of money spent on cancer research, the amount of laboratories and scientists worldwide, the technicians, shops, nurses and hospitals along with all the associated supplies, an industry involving tens of thousands and costing billions - if a cure was found tommorow, would they tell anyone ?

C'mon Gus, listen to old Blood here, you know it makes sense that Bloods right and they're wrong.

The limits fine where it is at present or it would'nt be where it's currently set at, and it was set there by the very same so called Experts that are saying that it's set to high.

If your going to do it then Do it right....Ban the sale of Alcohol and make sure there is an absolute Zero tolerance order in place to police a Zero Alcohol drive limit...this would also stop the p1ssheads from walking into the front of moving cars in the wee hours of the Weekend.

If 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood is to much then surely 60mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood is still to much.

But the Experts are full of sh1te when they say it will save 17 lifes a year in Scotland...that's just spin, It's the True P1ss heads that are killing people along with a bunch of ersehole drivers that should never have passed a driving test.
