WOMEN 'n' LOVE - Highest ranking so far
Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #4,835 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

#5 in Books > Gay & Lesbian > Literature > Fiction > Lesbian
#5 in Books > Fiction > Gay & Lesbian > Lesbian
#15 in Books > Fiction > Romance > Gay & Lesbian

Breaking into the top ten in its genre is special. Sub 5000, among 200,000 books is a fair achievement also. I'm chuffed. Three chapters to go on the sequel and it should be ready for Christmas. All remarkable from a standing start. Thanks to those who've read it.

All based on my taxi experience. Kinda gives some value to being a serf for nigh on 20 years.

:)

well done Jim.
long time coming.
you should make the next one about cowards hiding behind Pseudo-names and their upcoming exposure, you could get a trilogy out of it.
what they did after their taxi career ended etc
how little alan ran away to london and his life as a male prosi etc

OK, I know Amazon update their bestseller lists hourly, so it may only be a temporary blip.

But my tale about taxis, Edinburgh, and women and cabbies suffering inequality is currently the best seller in its genre.

Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #2,478 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

#1 in Books > Fiction > Gay & Lesbian > Lesbian
#1 in Books > Gay & Lesbian > Literature > Fiction > Lesbian
#2 in Books > Fiction > Romance > Gay & Lesbian

As the title says;

So chuffed - #1 in genre

For a first attempt that is amazing. =D> Now if you could just write a book about those [edited by admin] up at the council and make it a best seller. I think you would definitely grab their attention.

Yeah, got it in mind.

Donald Anderson, Colin Keir, Jim Inch, Kenny Macaskill, Derek Bird, Raoul Moat - throw in a mix of Columbine and a few other incidents, as well as a whole bunch of fertile imagination and it becomes an eclectic mix.

Add the inherent political corruption in the local government and Scottish parliamentary system and their indifference to any degree of morality or equality and ...

I'm on the case.
