i only take it to the door if i get a tip and anyways i'm a taxi DRIVER i have to take you to your destination as safely as possible not carry your shopping

Like the shifty character I took to Folkestone the other evening; tried to do "£30" cash mate for a £33 fare, having boasted that he'd just done 8 years for doing the local Sainsburys and pocketed £230k for his 8 years holiday...I got my £3!!

same here sometimes if i got out at 8 in the morning and come back at 10 at night i usually get a few long hires so i can make about £140 on a good day

The feeder at Brum Airport [no longer called Brum International Airport - thank God!] has the same waiting times and our average fare is £30-35 with many below that and very few above that.

We have quite a few Asian drivers, some black guys as well. I've never asked them about their religion though.

We also have a decent knowledge test for Taxi and PH drivers and we've had it for many years.
