Hi can anybody help me get a meter cheap and soon any body recommend a shop that do reconditioned ones :oops:

If you want it quick I doubt it will be cheap.

Still they are cheaper than they were, at least down here that's the case.

Just google tax meters in your area, most now go for around £200 fitted

Have you got one already and its gone on the blink??? if so it could be the sender on the gearbox or the fuse

The fitting of the meter is the cheap bit. It is the cost of the meter that is dearer. Once fitted it has to be calibrated anyway.
having read your posts about buying a cheap car, a cheap meter etc, I wonder if you realy understand what is required to be a success in this industry. The way in which you are going about it would make me think that you are doomed to failure before you begin.

Don't see the point in paying for things I can do myself, maybe that's just me :shock: One thing I have learn't is to try and save money when trying to get set up that way the banks don't own you. :)

Don't fit the meter yourself, you have a take a pulse off the radio for the meter to work, if you get the wrong wire your in the brown stuff.

That's one way to do it. You also have to calibrate the meter and inject the correct tariff.

Best all done by the agent.
