Theres no reason why a building cannot be declared as Jordanian soil for a month, all the evidence and witness flown in (or give video evidence) and he be tried here, Jordan has an embassy? airports have "air side" non-national (transfer) areas, it COULD be done

Seems bloody odd to me that the Original sticking point to sending him to Jordan was the European court of Human Rights since they had the final say on the matter because they have more powers than our courts, then they gave their blessing to allow us to deport him to Jordan...Now our Courts seem to have miraculously decided that the ECHR do not have the final say on the matter and have overridden the ECHR verdict after all and say we can't boot him out
FFS......who Decides which set of Lawmakers can tell us what to do.....How can we expect to get anything done if we are subject to two sets of Law, the ECHR and the British Law Courts.

That's an Impossible position to be in , It's just Lawyers playing Ping Pong between the two systems while they make a fortune at our expense.

Screw The guy....stick him on the first plane out and then refuse to pay any fine the ECHR might try and slap on us, that's how the Italians and French do things...

well being a christian I think I'd forgive the chap, this is a christian country - I keep being reminded of this fact by the most intolerant of people - who also claim to be christians - and think the guy should be deported and perhaps stand trial based on evidence which may have been beaten out of 'witnesses'.

The fact of the matter seems to be that he is only in this country because his country of origin has tortured him - we have kept him locked up but have been doing our level best to get him sent to a country with a debatable record on human rights - but thats ok because our country sell them - Tanks, warplanes and population control equipment.

We claim we have freedom of speech - but when you say something people dont like - you get locked up - sounds reasonable?
