tbh, I think gus is partially correct, if and when independence comes its a chance for Scots to form their own political will.....the SNP would have to evolve into something different, although watching their recent conference I would suspect it will split on a massive basis, but Salmond will leave at that point and leave the scraps to the rest.

The truth is finding the answer to the question as to if Scots will be better off in 10 years time.

I think the answer will be that there will be no change, but in many respects, I can see Gus's point (despite me doing my best to wind him up) that come independence, even if its a complete f*ck up, at least it'll be a Scots f*ck up, no one to blame.

But lest we forget how this all came about, from a person educated in scotland, born in england and responsible for millions of deaths.
