of course many PH companies call themselves cab companies.....and PH companies cannot accept bookings from operators licensed elsewhere :lol:

There are 42 "Taxi" companies listed in Lincoln.

Of these, 33 are private hire, 10 no longer exist, and only three are actually Lincoln Hackney companies.

I know that adds up to 46, because 4 of the listed PH companies (at least) are gonners.

But they are not neccessarily registered with Taxiquoter. Sounds like an omnishambles to me.

I prefer the American "Clusterfuck" myself, but the sensitivities of admin will probably block it. [edited by admin].

I was thinking about nicking one by the specials and replacing the words Nelson Mandela with Billy Bobs :wink:
