I feel sorry for you if you feel the need to abuse on the grounds of religion, God bless you though

It's all based on fear and ignorance, nothing else. It amazes me that people still want to believe it when overwhelming evidence makes it look archaic, pathetic etc etc. I suppose it's a fear of death (as we all do) so it becomes a crutch for those who need it....amen :-|

I much prefer a spiritual outlook than a religious one, religion is used to keep people enslaved and fearful as some of you have already said. Personally I think if there is love and trust in a relationship I don't feel that marriage is necessary, but, as I said before it's their choice and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't exercise that choice. Whom am I judge other peoples motives and religious beliefs. I do however find it rather strange that this move is coming from a conservative leader it seems to fly in the face of what conservative means :?

I've only read part of the first one and the writer is thinking how he thinks God would think.

That says it all for me.

That's all well and good.

But how many non-believers shout out, 'Oh my God' when they have a sudden heart attack and realise that they might be dying in the next few minutes.

But hey! It's fashionable to bash religions!

So you go Gucci, my son!

I think it all depends on whether your a bible basher personally it doesn't bother me but I can understand how people with a deep commitment to their religion and it's teachings would be upset I think you have to consider other people when taking decisions like this if you force the wishes of a minority onto the a resentful majority it ain't gonna work !
