In the post CC they stated they managed to get a rank due to the disabled.
Now as a national body why not contact Tesco and every supermarket and get ranks provided under the equality bill
Many supermarkets dont allow taxis to rank, and only allow a free phone most of the time connected to a PH company, the disabled should have immediate access to a cab from all these stores

So perhaps you could start the ball rolling

This is a common problem throughout the land CC, what do you think? More organised responses to their LA's inadequacies or what?
We had a problem with rank space at weekends, at nights at peak times, were over full. After a polite well written letter to the Hampshire Police boss (ME Hee Hee, where we threatened strike action at peak times at throw out time!!!!!) They got on to the council to have part time ranks put in at the requested spots outside night spots. It took 6 months but we got 'em!! The police were more lenient at those places where they were moving drivers on as they agreed in principle that we were right!! It saved them a lot of grief!!!
Funnily enough when drivers were getting penalty points or possible suspension on their Hack drivers licences, they all wanted to join the Union....
