We have just took delivery of a new Peugeot 5008. We have 4 megane estates and 1 megane saloon. 1 Laguna estate, 1 Galaxy, 1 Zafira, 1 Fiat Ducato 8 seater, 1 renault Master 8 seater (wheelchair accesable) 2 X 16 seat Merc Sprinter minibuses and a Cityrover.

It is plated as a private hire car, but it could be plated as a hackney if I wanted. It has a 1.4 litre engine and our council require a 1.25 litre engine or above. The car is used for taking a couple of kids to school and another couple of kids to college. It cost less than £1,000 to buy 4 years ago and has required very little in the way of maintenance since. £ for £ it is about the best earner of the lot. :mrgreen:

your council are not quite strict as mine then if I took a city rover to the test station I would be laughed at

You should see some of the tat that is licensed here. Believe me a Cityrover looks good. :lol:

53 plate Peugeot 406 Exec Estate, had it for 6 years, done 397k, still going strong on same engine and gearbox,
clutch changed to solid flywheel at 135k and is still going!!
Going to change in April to a WV Phaeton!! :D :D :D
