Depends who the vehcle is registered to, and before you start, no it can't be used on a Hackney Carriage.

I think this could be challenged, Firstly through a magistrate.
As some councils and TFL insist that the vehicles are WCA, to cater for the disabled, thereby the RFL should be free or vastly reduced in cost
Take a TX the RFL is around £400, possibly more??, but being a WCAV it could or should be exempt.
anyone care to get the ball rolling at the next union AGM
When I first started you could go to the PO and fill out the form claiming the vehicle was a hackney, show the docs and get the RFL for a quarter of the price, but for some reason it was stopped

If the owner was registered disabled......possibly, if it was a Mobility car......probably

I knew a Derby base owner (disabled) who used his blue badge on his vectra estate....

I once bought a Fiat 132 from auction that had "Hackney" as its tax class, sold it my brother who was pleased at the cheaper tax...lol, must have been 25 years ago tho

Disabled tax, vehicle must be used soley by or for the disabled person. Likewise a blue parking badge.
