We have just had a mirror meter fitted to our new car. It fits over the existing mirror.

Reson I want a digitax is because the digitax agent in Clydebank is very good from what I have heard from local taxi drivers majority of them have digitax, I am currently using a sheriff wayfare but in the superbs the dash has to be ripped out to fit a pulse wire and they do an exceptionally well job of it from all the reviews I've seen so that's why I want to go to digitax I have been looking around and I think a digitax f2 is what I'll be using

still has to be fitted, calibrated and the meter set to a tariff

plus a new one fitted has a warranty, all for £200 (ish), at least they dont have to calibrated regular like a tachograph

our LA charges £35 for the hackney meter test

arent the radio+data the property (and responsibility) of your base boss to fit? (i.e. not the meter fitters), and not many factory agents want to sell 2nd hand meters as the profits not in them

The superb 1.9 doesnt need any additional 'pulse wire' or better known as a canbus.

Access to all electrics via glove box which takes two minutes to remove.

I'm getting a 1.6 TDI they stopped making the 1.9 TDI engine in 2010 and the 2.0 and 1.6 diesels are all you get on the superbs now maybe different wiring
