Why do I recall how, when the English led us into two world wars, it was the Scots, Irish, Welsh and others from every part of the Commonwealth and beyond who sacrificed their sons and daughters to get them out of the hole they foolishly dug?

Short memories methinks.

We're in the middle of the second term of SNP government, and we live in a Scotland where we are so privileged we can't even ask a policeman for his collar number without incurring his institutional wrath.

The evidence is already here Gusmac. We should be pressing for a fair and just society, rather than being sidelined by independence.

300 years of union has failed to deliver this. What makes you think it ever will?

How much longer are you prepared to wait Jasbar? Another 300? Till hell freezes over?

So Gusmac, explain to us how the SNP are going to lead us to a just and fair system?

Then explain to us what they've done to begin the process?

Thanx.

Answer my question first.

“One is economic, firms can sell goods and services into a larger single market, the second is we have influence in the world, for example the Eurpoean Union, the big countries call the shots, and the third is the powerful emotional argument, we are Scottish, and we are proud to be English, we don’t have to choose.”

Quality. Gusmac knows the SNP have done nothing to reverse our decline, and they have no plans to do so in the future.

Rather, we're supposed to vote with our hearts to dive like lemmings off the SNP cliff.

You'd have to be daft to fall for this nonsense.

Nearly right, Whizzkid.

The decline Jasbar mentions has occurred on the union's watch. The union also holds most of the economic levers required to reverse that decline.
Yet they fail to use those levers, other than to foist their austerity upon us and reward their own selfish kind with tax breaks.

None of the union parties even bother to pretend they will do anything for Scotland or its people these days. They are too busy sucking up to the south of England's voters to give a shecht about us.

Billions can be found for unwanted and unneeded nuclear weapons, yet letting our OAPs on the bus for free is unaffordable.

We can afford hundreds of millions every year to keep a couple of thousand Falklanders British, but we can't afford free prescriptions for our people.

We put more in the pot than we get back and we're told we're spongers. Nobody calls the Falklanders spongers but they get subsidised to the tune of hundreds of thousands a year each. Go figure.

You did miss Jasbar failing to answer my question though. I'll no hold my breath waiting.
I'll just expect some more schecht about transparency and fascism. Its a good distraction from the stuff that does matter to the average Scot.
