Well if we do, perhaps Bloodnock might tell us what it is?

Firstly we can Export around three Million Euro Migrants back to the EU, then We can Build up our Industry to that which it was before the EU helped feck up for us..If we bought British we would still have Industries to be proud of here.

No..but your point is just as relevant to Scotland wanting out of the UK as Great Britain wanting out of the EU is.

Not so.
We are in a more favourable trading position to the rest of the UK and we also don't want to isolate ourselves from our main trading partners.

This thread is, however, about the UK as a whole leaving the EU.
I don't think it's fair to turn it into another independence thread. There's enough of those already.

And how many Brit migrants would you get back in return?

How are you going to build up a completely decimated industrial base, into a going concern that will be able to compete on a world stage with countries that have labour costs a fraction of ours?
And what happens to the country while all this is happening?
Not to mention, where's the money coming from to buy British, when were all skint and paying off £1.2 trillion of debt.

I wouldn't argue, but we have to deal with the realities of the present, not what might have been.

and why ? :D

Out, but keep the single market.

Why? Because the people from this country should decide what's best for them, not anyone else.

Europe would close it's borders to UK trade. No if's buts or maybe's.
All companies who set up here with a view to the European market would leave.
The City of London would cease to exist as a World financial sector.

And of course the right wing would no longer have the Europeans to blame for everything from immigration to bent bananas.

I sort of get what you're saying, but that was the view of some when we didn't join the Euro.

And not a lot changed.

There was a referendum in the mid '70s. 67 percent of the british who voted wanted to be in the EEC.

We have been in for 40 years - can someone tell me what has been the benefit..............all that I have seen is the demise of industry, and constant "Recessions", resulting in a country that we no longer recognise as "British". The EEC policies mean that this country will cease to be "Totally" British in our children's/grandchildren's lifetime - they will be in the minority, and that cannot be right.

I am not racist, but these policies have already put us in a position whereby people of "Ethnic" background are actually advertised to apply for a given job - that in my eyes means that we are being discriminated against, and it will only get worse making our descendants prisoners in their own country - We have European directives to thank for that.

A bloody big OUT for me on a number of issues - and I could not give a stuff about the "City".

Dream on....We ain't no more loved or liked in the Business world than our English or Welsh UK neighbours are. Where do you get this Idea that we Scots are in some way better placed to deal with the Euroslugs than anyone else is..

In or Out.

Will it make much difference?

I doubt it.
