Norwegian Atlantic Road ......
The road is built bridging small islands (eight in total) and reefs, with undulating roads and overpasses and has a view of the open sea, rare along the Norwegian coast. This an amazing video of a dramatic ocean seascape. As you drive, the spectacle is of waves crashing over the road and an almost casual way of passing cars, and people stopping to watch the action. It's a tribute to the constructors to watch the waves break over the road in such spectacular fashion.

Would never be allowed here, Health and Safety would close it at Night, windy days, wet days, dull days, snowy days, days when the life guards on holiday. days when the forecast says it might rain, might snow or might be windy. But then the LA would advertise it as a Must be experienced Visitor attraction even though you couldn't actually use it.
