Three day week, miner strikes, power shortages....

the 70's were great were they not

car factories on strike weekly (now shutdown) ....yep, some result that, well done

Quote:
Throughout the mid 1970s, especially 1974 and 1975, the British economy was troubled by high rates of inflation. One of all government's strategies at the time to tackle this was to cap public sector pay rises and publicly promote a clear capped level to the private sector. This caused unrest among trade unions in that wages did not keep pace with price increases. This extended to most industries including the majority of the energy industry's raw materials provider, which had a powerful union, coal mining.

Shipbuilders, Car factories, Mines, Steel works......all crippled

it may only be persuasive but it depends how deviously you want to put the case to the committee,
i did it in such a way that they thought it was going to be plastered everywhere that they lost 25 grand in costs and they backed down.

I'd support a colour scheme in London, it could be phased in over 5 years.

Griffin has a fleet of black cars for a reason, to emanate a highly trained world recognised taxi trade, a standard which his drivers will never reach in a month of Sundays, even with their sat navs.
