From that graph I cannot see 100% rise in ten years Or the actual ten and a half years that it covers!!!

Any scumbag can get round this by declaring their employees as self employed.

BTW, the increase says much about how crap TMW was to start with.

Lets not forget the minimum wage was opposed by the Tory VERMIN

Down here we have the London living wage which is a bloody site better than TMW

Bogus self employment of course especially in the PH industry renders TMW irrelevant

It's all well and good but if employers can no longer afford to pay it then the jobs will disappear at the end of the day a business has to have healthy margins to pay good wages or government healthy tax revenues

Why would they pay minimum wage if they can hire illegals, use bogus self employment or get free staff courtesy of the job centre and Atos?
They do it because they can and it generates profit for their shareholders. Not because they are so impoverished they have to.
Are you seriously telling me the likes of Tesco can't afford to pay decent wages? Get real. #-o

BTW bogus self employment costs the country billions every year between unpaid tax and benefit top ups.
It's a fiddle of monumental proportions and it makes these employers the biggest spongers in the country.
