Anyway, back to the original post by Leona, AKA Trotsky's twin.

Revenge. A dish best eaten cold.

About a year ago, two drivers here took it upon themselves to report me to the council for the offence of arriving at an empty rank, and not going right to the front of the rank. All by myself on a rank for thirteen hacks, I was not causing an obstruction, nor was I preventing others from accessing the rank. I was hauled in front of the licencing committee, for them to decide if I was a fit and proper person to hold a licence. It was decided that I am. For that is all they can do. One of them even attended the meeting to give evidence against me. I don't know why, because I did not deny the offence, because there was no offence. There is nothing in the bylaws to say that a driver must move to the front of the rank.

On Saturday, one of the dynamic duo, in fact the one who rushed to City Hall to give evidence, parked his Cab at the back of the very same rank, and bimbled off into town for half an hour.

As he and his bestest friend did, I took photographs, and e-mailed them to City Hall....

Now, he HAS committed a breach of bylaws...

And if the Dinosuar trade union rep calls me a grass, I'll live with it.

Being put in danger of losing your licence isn't petty. Is it?
