Well, we all know that Private ire drivers will work their ass es off.
The Wick job proved it. 21 and half hours in the saddle. Then a drive back down the dangerous A9.
And we know that while the big boy is languishing in his expensive pad, it won't be him paying the price. That price will be paid for by the drivers. It always is. So, we know they'll work longer and harder as obedient units of production to fill the coffers of the Glasgow boys.
So when someone is killed, who will be responsible?
The drivers, for whom slavery is a drug?
The Company who know how they operate, and ignore it as they dip their pockets?
The Airport management for allowing dangerous practices to win their tender?
Or the council, who also how these turnips operate, and do nothing?
And shouldn't we, as responsible cabbies, warn everyone we take to the airport about how these guys operate?
And if a PH does kill a punter, doesn't this also drag City Cabs' reputation into the mire, for leaping into bed with PH?
BTW We all now know why pecker boy changed the tariff to the standard one with a straight discount. Seems they intend to charge full whack from the airport while discounting elsewhere. Now, as with above, shouldn't we be telling those we take to the airport about the two tier fare structure, so they know to demand the discount benefit as well?
Just imagine, all these eager units of production languishing at the airport for long periods, then having to discount as well. No more than they deserve.
Particularly with the extra pecker tax to pay for it.
Cos we all know this is only about the few filling their boots at every one else's expense.
BTW 2 City Cabs have got previous. They ruined the station gig by breaking trade ranks and paying the 40 pieces of silver. What they did then harmed the whole trade, and it has NEVER recovered. GThey are responsible for the culture of the trade having to pay for access to its own customers. No other trade suffers this. City Cabs delivered it.
What they have done here is just as Heinous.
And the only way to repay them is complete de-restriction. Control back in the arses of those who sit in the saddle and actually do the work.
