And that my friend is why the goons of the T&G wanted us all to vote Labour.

To help out all those that they really care about, bus drivers.

I am in the T&G , i have never been consulted by them , About my feelings about restricted , taxi numbers .They keep rabiting on about, people being exploited. They along with restricted councils, have a policy thats ,anti driver, it clearly helps fleet owners exploit ,the poor sod who drives the cab . The arguement for the driver, has some how been lost , hidden by this crap about ,the world ending if drivers were allowed to own there own plate. It has not happend in London , Birmingham , Coventry . All have beter Taxis services , than Liverpool, Newcastle etc. You can guess, what i am going to do with my union card .

Yes Mr T, JUST a driver, he clearly hasn't reached your exalted heights [-(

I can't see what your point about the T&G meeting whenever in Liverpool discredits streetcar's point, but you make it sound like it does. Could you explain what you mean?

I wait, in what appears to be vain ,for you to provide me with logical reasons, for restricting taxi numbers. How is it in the interest of the driver to be paying , 300 pounds for a long collar Lreg . How is in the interest of the public, paying , extortionate taxi fares , just so some one can lounge about . Surely even you can see ,that the end is comming . Trams if they run them as planned , will put the final nail in to taxis. It seems that you feel , that you are superior, to just a driver. May be you are . I have never been able, to get to the union office in sefton street , been to busy, feeding a parasite . But i will. I shall find this chair of the joint trades . who must be invisable ,because no one seems, to know who he is and give him a peice of my mined . Whats this thing, calling every one you disagree with thick . Best wishes street car .

Despite my varied views on the black cab trade, at least anyone can do the knowledge, and at least they don't restrict entry.

And that's the last time I'm going to be nice about them. :-$

The difference is that you said it on here, it wasn't him who was saying it.

There's a difference between him being humble and you being imperious.

As for clutching at straws, moi? [-(

Sussex goes on about plate prices , in Liverpool and why jacobs did no explore, the impact they have on the taxi market . Well i would like to find out why, he did not explore the extortionate rents being charged for taxi s In Liverpool . The jacobs report has quelled the theory ,that there are loads of owner drivers . The very people you hide behined . I am considering, writting to my M P . Using the jacobs report as evidence ,That something stinks in Liverpool. T&g members fomulate policy and you call me thick, still waiting Streetcar . I think jacobs has unearthed a racket, trouble is you dont know what a racket is .
