I feel I must draw everyone's attention to the inaccurate and false information I posted on this forum last week.
I said that Central (Poundland Taxis) through the efforts in particular of Tony (will someone please believe I'm Alan Sugar) Kenmuir had managed to secure the RBS contract for the next few years at a whopping 26% discount. I must apologise to everyone concerned as this is not the level of discount so skillfully negotiated by the bold boys, it is in fact 31%, yes a further 5%. The bold boys have surpassed themselves again. Not content with ramming the members with having to absorb 26% on each and every RBS fare the bold boys in their desperation to keep the account also agreed to swallow the 5% credit card fee that all RBS fares are moving to!
Outstanding boys what a class act you are. Do you not recognize that taxi drivers are on a working class wage and don't pick up committee (middle class) wages? Between all your poundland discounts for all your hard earned contracts you have put the members in for finding £700k a year, the members must be looking forward to asking you all next Sunday.
So all avid watchers I will try and only give you accurate facts over the next 7 days, hate having to say sorry (ho ho) a bit like the bold boy businessmen.
Until the next revelation.
P.S. Here's a thought for the Central airport drivers to take to their committee. If City Cabs (and they surely will) deliver a great airport service it will be 2021 before Central drivers ever get close to picking up the Irish again in the Six Nations, now that's a result.
Well well!!! I think it takes a man to stand up and apologise so we'll let a little blemish pass.
I would however like to ask if the 31% discount takes in to account the "no hire charge" of 80p? If it doesn't that would add another 8% taking the magical contract with RBS to 39%.
Just an observation Fat Boab.
You are clearly very observant, it was remiss of me not to mention the 'no call out charge' and also any fares out of the airport that incur parking charges. These amounts are being asked and expected to be picked up by the mugs. You do the arithmetic and also factor in this, on all RBS fixed fares which are below the actual metered rate and there are plenty of them, the discount figure of 26% is taken from these also, some negotiating here Kev, Tony and Murray!
Surely the 4 ordinary members standing against the bold boys next Sunday must be in with a chance? One is definitely getting on as the bold boys have been attempting to keep the good ship afloat with 4 on the committee when 5 is the norm. The bold boys spin on running the company with 4 committee members is that ''we can do it better than you and cheaper than you, judge us by results.'' Central definitely do it cheaper!
What are the odds on more than 1 getting on as the current 4 have a lot coming their way this week and may just resign before next Sunday.
Will Murray manage to get another year on middle-class wages? He's had over 11years so far but with no team or talent around him to prop up his shortcomings or Central's image, he must be 50/50, will he have the neck to stand?
Will Tony (the apprentice) even know the date, time and venue of the meeting? He's spouted that much mince and spun that many hokey stories he's hoping to confuse everyone into not attending. Unfortunately Tony Boy you are onto plums here and the baying mob will be looking for answers into his calamitous and disastrous year.
That brings us to Kevin the chairman, he who apparently is on record as saying ''i'll resign if Central don't win the airport.'' Well Kevin you haven't won the airport, you won the hole in the doughnut, Krispy Cremes at Hermiston Gait could be your future? Back to serving behind a glass counter for you as there is not much call in a doughnut shop for someone with your talent for computers and reverse servers, a bit of a come down, a Travesty even?
