200 miles, 400 miles round trip less fuel £75 leaves £165 out of £240...would you earn £165 in 6 hours of local Mushing???
Nice to see another one who thinks that the only expenses of running a car is the cost of fuel. I hate to think what the HP or lease cost of a 7 series is likely to be.

I'd suggest there's probably another £45 a day standing charges and overheads associated with that car, so that brings the £165 down to about £120, for 7, no, call it 8 hours hard slog on the motorway. Oops, plus congestion charge, parking fees in Lundun. Lucky if the chauffeur gets £80 for his trouble!

No its not another one of those...within the time period we are speaking the standing costs remain constant....you still pay the £45 standing charge etc whether you work or not. I have to be honest I would find it hard, if not impossible to earn £240 in 6 or even 8 hours. This is £30 per hour? More likely at the moment on the streets its closer to £5 hour!

Our registered address is also our accountants. That is the way many limited companys have it. There is a difference between registered address and operating address usually.

Yep, agreed the standing costs are there every day, but like I said, the £260 "earnt" soon whittles awaaaaaaaaay when you take off the forgotten bits.

Maybe someone should check with the chauffeur company's LO to see what they've got.

anyway, there's probably a niche market for such vehicles, like there is for my fleet of old London buses for weddings at about £600 a day!

Don't ring yet. I think that the number is the operator number and not the plate number.

You do not need any licence to run a chauffeur company.

You do not need to licence the vehicles.

You do not need to licence the chauffeurs.

This company have a fleet of approx 80 vehicles and have non of the above. http://pcslimited.org/

Maybe anyone getting into the business needs to operate from with Halton Borough Council's area.
