I pay full whack, work 4 days, 5 tops, am finished by 2 am and pay my full, and I mean full, rental on time.

Do you honestly think I care whether an owner thinks he's doing me a favour giving me a rental. My owner just knows he's getting a good deal. And if he wants me out, I would larf my cork off once again.

Get ready to get laffin then ya prize knob

You truly are a t*t Fat Boab.

Now let's see. Most of my time is taking up writing. And are*holes like you are in the latest tome.

BTW I know why his previous streetcar driver left under a cloud.

I don't care either way.

You see. I'm a writer who's driving taxis for pin money. And you're in the next book feckwit that you are.

Now, tell us all. When are you going to grow up and put up?
To answer your last question, i'm no gonna xxx

yes I support, I think you're right to ask the question you posted, which by the look of it didn't look like a swipe at anyone on TDO......subsequently subscribers have made it go off topic......which is a shame, considering all you appeared to be doing was to ask a simple question.

my comment was basically saying, although I argue with you about virtually everything (especially the bells) - I think your post and question were good =D>

the irony of a lack of response ( and personalisation ) suggests you hit a raw nerve - which knowing you - probably expected - but was a surprise to me!

Ha ha your self importance has no boundaries!
I have no idea who Jim Taylor is??!! Should I?? Clearly I should as you, jasbar think you're the most important cleverest person in the world.
One question Jasbar......if you're so super duper why aren't you in a greater position of power??

James Barclay Taylor or Jasbar would never ever been in any position of power but would have had much more respect if he had campaigned for his unfettered access from the outside and not all the time when having a taxi rented to him by people/owners who were and are in business. Jim has had many good folk rent him out their taxi in good faith as a business person would but not knowing all the time he was and is hell bent on destroying their livelihoods. Jim has never ever understood the phrase "don't bite the hand that feeds you."

His current owners Bill and Erica have invested many hours and lots of money in building up their taxi and PHC businesses, at no time shouting for de-restriction or de-limitation, how sad for them they are unaware of what Jimmy Jasbar desires.

Jimmy Jasbars campaign will go on, get used to him.

He can't see it, he can't hear it but James Barclay Taylor, YOU ARE THE MARK!

Crescendo of applause. Mr Boab your last paragraph was total genius, he is the mark. I now understand why he never answered me question as to what he thought of the imbecile who wanted de-restriction. =D> =D> =D>

Mr Artur returns to the debate. Welcome. I do love your way of making Mr Taylor realise his unimportance in this whole debate. You are indeed a very clever individual Mr Artur, perhaps you would enjoy a game of chess? I am going to private message you Mr Artur, I want to see if you are as clever as I think you may be.

I think for now Mr Jimmy Jasbar has found the lambs

Fettering access to the tools of a qualified driver’s trade only serves to distort the taxi market through hiked rentals and inflated artificial plate premiums. It is little to do with supplying a quality service to the customer or running a real business. And not only does it stifle growth. It opens the door to the competition, the Airport falling into the clutches of the Ph being a prime example, of the taxi trade losing its numerical presence in the customer transport market.

The Edinburgh Taxi Trade should have de-restricted years ago by bringing in quality controls to allow at least some organic growth to enter the market. Instead, it created an opportunity for the Ph to expand to meet the demand the taxi trade has continually ignored. The fact is, if you don’t expand to take control of your market, your competition will do it for you.

I think the simple truth is, your plate values and rentals are now coming under increasing pressure from falling customer demand, and you’ve created a monster in the Ph, which has a far more flexible model of operation.

There is only one way this can end and your driver's rental and plate "values" are on the chopping block.

Ah mr skull.
Mrs maS asks for you.
The office is shiny but not as bright  .
I enjoyed a little Chortle when i heard the route taken from waverly bridge to your destination.
But a true gentleman sits back and enjoys the ride, and the company of course.

The alcohol must be getting to you.

I didn't answer your question because I didn't see it.

Now if you would like to put it again

And I promise to write in words of one syllable so you may understand it =D>

What's happening with ECPH's writ against Central?

There seems no doubt it was served. And, according to fat Boab, served on the committee before the AGM.

And, again it is reported that the committee denied receiving it at the AGM, and were therefore re-elected on the principle of its non arrival.

So, we're now presumably in the court process.

CRT defend against it, then they must be prepared to lead evidence and cite witness to prove their premise.

ECPH would have to defend this, and allow witnesses to testify under oath. They would have to answer the questions asked. That would be interesting.

And if the case was suddenly and mysterious pulled, under the guise of a deal being done behind closed doors, then wouldn't the public at large, and presumably the business community too, be entitled to assume that the smoke did mean fire and the allegations were true?

Anyone not larfing their cork off at how to opponents are entertaining us?

So, let's get back on track.

Fat Boab, who appears suspiciously like scumbag Coolky, was obviously doing his best to deflect the question. But here it is again.

So, let's have the answer. If ECPH don't pursue the writ to the fullest extent of the Law, can't we all assume that what Central's committee wonderboys claimed about them is true?

And if the wonderboys do apologise, will the stupid central owners allow them to continue in office?
