Hello Mace , The wheels are the same as the twin rear wheel transit. The rear drum brakes and cylinders are also from the transit. Cheers Kevin.

Hey guys

Does anyone know where the wing side repeaters for the fairway are from. I need a new one and I am not paying over the odds prices for a listing where I could get cheaper somewhere else listed as another name.

Headlights are standard sealed beam, seven inch with side light 'window'. The indicator repeater lights will be common to various older makes (BMC etc) but the add on accessory type (usually sold as marker lights) will fit.

If your tinkering with the lights, why not change all the bulbs, (except for the headlights), to LED bulbs.
These are available for all fittings from ebay.
Alegidly they should last a lifetime

By coincidence I've just ordered some of these, they are supposed to out last and out perform normal bulbs many times over.
I'll soon now if its true.

Cheers guys!

I will look into the LED lights. The reason i need a new indicator is that, its welded itself to the wing! the wing needs to come off for working on the rust.

I just ordered new Headlight bowls as the chrome inserts were badly perished. I am led to believe they are the same as the mini etc.

I've had LEDs since last summer. Working just fine as long as you don't mind the whiter light, brighter but not as cosy perhaps.

Still winter here, not like in Scotland though.... Taking my 2 ton baby to a car upholstery shop today. The slippery rubber mat is giving way to a bespoke carpet :D
Thinking of pimping it out with carpet in the door mouldings as well =D>

All the BEST!
/M
