How much does insurance cost in your area?

12 months with maximum no claims and a clean license cost me £850 last year for a 4 year old skoda superb hackney carriage in Carlisle. I got £50 off because of my position  so a truer cost would have been £900.

when looking to renew i sent out 30 emails, about 10 replied and about 6 actually quoted

i was also told that the COMPANIES take a dim view of brokers quoting out of their locality and up the premiums, is that an unfair practise?

im now insured via a scottish based broker

Between 50 and 1500 lumps reportedly mush but not for all some find them more expensive perhaps down to their home address or driving record but their worth a punt members are advised evidently to secure a quote THEN advise of GMB membership to obtain the discount.

They do ins for Maybachs Bentleys down to normal motors Skodas Fords etc

I don't think NCB counts for anything nowadays.

OH YES IT DOES......

when the truck hit me my £1200/4 years NCB premium became a £2100/1 year NCB premium and when renewed this year it became a £900/5 year NCB.....£1100 once protected and with £10M PL insurance
