i have a superb 1.6 tdi, and the space is brilliant you really REALLY need to see the cabin space and look at reviews on youtube ETC, there are 1.6 tdi's,and 2 liter tdi's, and a 1.4 and 1.8 turbo petrols. you will not be disappointed and there is a VAT deal going on if you buy new and save about £2000 and thats why i went straight to skoda and not the taxi centre

Vectra Estate, I've used them for 14 years and the only major expense is DMF (clutch). Always been very reliable.

Nice.

I really wish we could use taxis where people get to sit right next to the driver, and punters in the back have unfettered access to you, your taking and your person.

Quality.

Mondeo

had mine over 3 years, bought at 69K miles for £4250, done 100K miles, had DMF/clutch/water pump everything else has been down to potholes...

lowest mpg 45 best 52

cheap servicing, no cambelt, cheap parts available anywhere

lazy 6th gear (70mph/1900rpm)

if you will go vauxhall i would think it would be a insignia you would go for, there are very few vectra's / insignias up here as the engines and turbo's are quite unreliable and one of the drivers i know has a vectra and it was in at vauxhall getting the swirl Potts and turbo fixed and my nice has a 58 plate vectra 1.9 CDTI and the same thing has happened to her so she is just getting rid of it :?
