Licensing officers don't just do taxis, there rather like a jack of all trades and master of none? They think they no it all but they don't ? They often give out wrong information, and when challenged dig there heels in like a spoilt child who will not admit there wrong.over the years I have learnt to plant a seed and make them think its there idea, this is the only way you will get what you want? Unless you go through the courts ect? So you ave to do your home work and get all the info you can to prove them wrong? Case law is a good way to do this? Also any correspondence should be done in writing, keeping copies and dates of all letters sent and received ? If you go to court or the ombudsman you will need these to prove you have tried to talk some sense to them:-)

Its a shame that london let the age restriction through, even though they said it was about emissions whats the difference between 16 year old fairway and 12 year old tx1 same engine ? Its all about what some councilors see as upgrading image, whereas in reality we all know you can have a immaculate 15 year old cab and a shed of 5 years old  We can licence over 15 years but its tested three times a year and has to pass a exceptional condition requirement.

Which council is that please

How can it those costs be different?

Yes I know 1 is 1 year, and the other is 3 years, but how can the processing costs be £90 different? :-k

Methinks the LC will end this fees madness, and there will be many LOs looking for a new job post LC.

They have removed the application forms that were online. My wife's was removed a few minutes ago. The BBC were going to run a story tonight but they have put it on hold due to Maggie dying. Last week it was the end of the Phillpot trial that delayed the story.
The vehicle information is still available at the moment, or it was when I last looked.
