This seems to have caused quite a stir up at CRT towers. I've just had a mate on the phone asking me about what I've written on this thread. Apparently, the CRT committee is all bent out of shape because it was supposed to be a secret.

Rental sets are a disease, a symptom that the corporate body is diseased.

The business model has failed. It's no longer enough to invest in the company, extra income is needed, so the business gurus add extra competition for company work through rental sets where no investment in the company is required.

But the work is diluted. Existing members are getting less bang for their buck.

But then, existing members are owners, and they're not the ones paying.

It's the drivers sitting in the saddle who pick up tab?

Do owners say more competition, less work for you, I'll reduce your rental to compensate? Nope!

And that's the fundamental dishonesty.

Central owner/members accepting this are little more than thieves and conmen stealing from their drivers.

for trying to get away with it.

Well, from what I hear, CRT drivers are already jumping ship. The day of the big CRT rental is coming to an end.

Nope. I'm a disease to owners because I speak up in the interests of drivers who are treated like shecht by owners.

You should be ashamed that drivers are treated so badly.

Kaiser charges his driver £270 + fuel for a rental. Cheap at the price eh...

I speak the truth Kaiser. I didn't even know the CRT owner who told me that rental sets were up for grabs, but Kevin Woods confirmed it.
