One doesn't have to be a protege of John Maynard Keynes to know that in the deepest recession in memory it is beneficial to the whole economy for the government to create whatever stimuklus it caqn to help get things going again.

Successful paydown of accumulated debt is most effectively achieved by an economy which is growing. Our isn't.

Restricting taxi licences to protect a minority group, the only group in our economy to be granted such special treatment, is little more than a missed opportunity to get people back into work, paying taxes and reducing benefits costs, and to stimulate the sales and servicing of new vehicles, and which could provide much needed jobs in both those sectors.

People will remain unemployed, sucking in benefits, and not contributing to the tax burden because our government chooses to pander to the vested interests who feed off special treatment.

I'll get my real return from the taxi trade in the two books I've planned. One will be a work of fiction to show where the disaffected can easily be led to.

The second is a factual account of what the taxi trade has become and how the players have abused it through selfish interest. All the names will be there, the characters of the CRT case, the licence applications, the conduct of various owners I've worked for and the lowering of standards while customers have deserted it.

And how politicians have conducted themselves from Phiol Attridge through to Alex Salmond. It will be factual so everyone can be named.

And bet on my photographic memory and the various documentary proof I've collected over the years. Everything will be told. Everything will be substantiated by fact.

I'm looking forward to the projects. i just can't work out which to do first. Expose or fun?

Why don't you take inspiration from the classic book 'Roots' by Alex Haley, suppression of the nigga and all that came of it? That story had a happy ending, you'll always be working for the man get used to it cab nigga!.....

The title of the factual piece will be I, Cabbniggr.

I know the inspiration will be lost on you, but it does have a certain ring to it, even for the cabcretins like you.

The title of the fiction piece is going to be .... well that would be telling
