"ME ME ME"
Another press story telling customers they're just a cash cow. And feckwits on this forum like A&T saying its more cash for his coffers.
3.6% will trigger higher rentals.
It will also allow an excuse to increase circuit fees.
Drivers will likely earn little more - but then that is the lot of serfs under the yoke of an SNP regime.
However, I do agree the party tariff is a good idea for some. It will provide the best incentive ever for those who book private hire at weekend peak periods to actually wait until they turn up and get into them. Less bogeys for PH drivers has to be good for them. I do hope they remember to thank the taxi trade barons for their largesse.
As for a £50 spoiling fee. What chance have you got of getting that. The cops won't help you. because its a civil matter between you and the customer. And, unable to take them to the cops what are you gonna do? Lock them in, and for what purpose? And be charged by the cops who won't help you for kidnapping? It is effectively unenforceable with any passenger who tells you to sling your hook.
Perhaps part of the problem is that the criminally insane gurus who have inveigled themselves into positions of influence no longer actually drive taxis. They're languishing on their 30 grand plus paychecks, plus extortionate expenses, paid for by members, while someone else does the hard work in their taxi on the front line.
Their incentive for any of these price hikes is just so they can charge more to their serfs.
Another trade own goal. And another 50 PH added to the big fleet on the back of it.
Hear hear Jasbar, all this driven by Kim Jong Tony and his ilk.
You must be a very confused individual Jasbar as earlier this week you were saying "the trade needs a strong Central" well I would say like a hole in the heid!
The party tariff, more like party time for the PHC.
