£290 --subs
£10--- credit card machine
£30 to 40 ---discounts(so the directors can keep their cushdy account work)

just to clear up i didnt want a reduction in fares but it was failing big time so i understand why it happened, either it will work or it will force drivers away and the company will find its proper level with the right amount of cars instead of the crazy amount its got now,or its a gonner

What are the discounts about? So normally you'd pay 90.00 per week subs but now you're paying 66.00 but you don't know how long that will go on for and they're assuming that the new tariff will only cost drivers £24 in lost earnings but hopefully it will increase jobs so in theory you should make more money :? So they hope to increase the job count by more than 8 jobs per week per driver just so you can break even and earn what you did before the cut and that's not really taking into account the extra fuel etc, how many drivers do they have?

i not really understand what b&d is so i no reply to that but you mention earlyer that firm have to many car an that if car leave then balance is better so what is real is that because job count no increase with car count boss start his radical move at driver expense i glad i no work for someone like that an i tell you now it all end in tears like it always does in busines wars i no understand why when firm have 100s of owner that they dont start new firm with enough car to cover work and hit the adverts it probably cost 100 driver 300 each to hit the ground running with there own shareholder firm instead of sufer discount and radio increase from greedy people who now run cab firms

hey i never said it made sence.

discounts are paid by all cars based on the previous months account work
the drivers get paid the meter amount but the account customer gets a discount and that amount is shared.

I'm pleased for you, but what happens when your competitors follow suit?

Will your fares be reduced even further?

Your taking more because the hackneys on your firm arent running for those 2 poundish jobs, glad its working for you but at what price ? Your doing far more miles for not a lot extra, not much extra at xmas either ? Speaking to people on your company, there far from impressed. But hey look on the bright side your directors are happy with all you ph voting(and paying big salarys) for them

So you say,and im glad for you.Hackneys work different from ph,youd notice by the amount sat on ranks after the early morning/school works finished. They wont pull of for a 2 pound job,by the time they have run for it thats what youd end up with.Whats better to do one job for a fiver or two for 2.50 ? Maybe for you your doing better,on the other hand i dont see a queue forming to join your company.Have a good xmas, allthe best.
