I just ordered new Headlight bowls as the chrome inserts were badly perished. I am led to believe they are the same as the mini etc.

Yes the bowls are the same as the Mini, Morris Minor, etc.. you can get metal or plastic bowls, I tried both on my two Fairways and both are OK! the only thing is that the inner chrome circle will rust, sooner or later

Maybe modern chroming isn't as good as the old stuff was.I rubbed my chrome bumpers down and painted them after giving up keeping them rust free.
Four or five strokes with 600 wet and dry and I was down to base metal anyway.

Hi,
does anyone know where can I get a nearside front stub axle and wheel hub? What other car/van has the same parts? Buying those new or used would cost over £250.
Thanks
D.

So many of these are now being broken that there are hundreds of parts available secondhand. Try Ebay.

Anyone know of best, and or cheapest, driver seat for Fairway driver. One that fits onto original fixings would be even better.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the later ford (mondeo?) seats fit without too much alteration.
