the internett does have its nutters thats why people name themselves after dustbins, and the like.

I reccomend sincerly that you take down your address, you are safe with Maurice he wishes you no harm, but in front of all and sundry?

It seems Mick and Nigel has wiped the whole public section of their site. Why should they do that?

As you say, I have no access to what was written as it has all been deleted so remind me did I accuse you of disseminating e-mail addresses?

Did I actually accuse any one person?

What I said, I think, was that I generated an e-mail specifically and exclusively for Mick’s Forum. No other person had access to that address. It was passed on to an unauthorized person or persons. Now as you are a computer expert how do you think that could have happened? I take such actions seriously and as such I really do not think that shows me up. I think that anyone who subscribes to forums should expect that certain private information is held in safe hands. Now what does that show?

Thanks for the address, but I don't think I need it. I did not say I was about to bring a "case".

Given the circumstances, and as the public forum was wiped, I shall e-mail Mick to see if he can shed any light as to why my e-mail was passed on.

regretfully I donot know who you are but can I give you a little advice.

the member list to both this site and the other channel is open and free access to all registered members, and that includes all e-mail addresses that were given in the open.

I dunno if that helps you but it is a fact.

Actually Alex it might have something to do with this forum as this is the area that the e-mail was passed onto. It came from postmaster@taxi-driver.co.uk Message-ID: <20030917210005.20595.qmail@premierdns3.co.uk> with an entreaty to join this site.

Any Ideas as to how my e-mail was obtained by the person who was canvassing for this site?

If it has got to you by mistake, I can only apologise. But if you return it and say un-subscribe, then the computer software will automatically un-list your e-mail address.

However there is no way we would ask, or for that matter receive, e-mail addresses from another site.

at least they didnt set up a new site without asking you that would have been bloody bad manners, but speaks volumes cos certain members know you, know youve been barred several times yet they still want you, and that claude speaks volumes about freedom of speach on this site

members will be thinking that as you keep comming as guest, that you are horrified at the invitation, I am sure you are not indeed you could have found your own way.

I am interested about the denials, who is hiding what? well this side could not have nicked it as it was a closed e-mail, so was it done as some kind of bad faith to this site?
