Bought a couple of new chrome strips for gutters, are they easy to replace, thought I read somewhere you just hook them on the top of the gutter and tap them on with your fist or a rubber hammer. Any tips before I remove the old ones please.

If they are the plastic type ones they need heat to slip on easily,stick them in a pail of hot water. If they're from the firm I got my crap chrome bumpes from,stick them in the bin

As above said you need to have a bucket of hot water to hand and they just clip on,take time to get them warm or else youll snap em !

Whoops! Ah well second time lucky, think I might try a hairdryer when I get to the sharp bend, as it got cold again by then.
