Pretty decent night last night and this morning, mind you it was helped by the Muslim drivers going home about 11pm after a tear up on the rank earlier in the evening, I didn't see what happened but one English driver who was there said people were coming out of the local pubs and walking down the rank looking for an English driver, one Muslim driver got out and said in broken English, "what is the matter with my car". The punters said, do you really want to feckin know??

Something kicked off big time and I think they got the message, they all fecked off home to Derby leaving it to us to clean up at 2am

All in all it was a cracking night, I've not looked at my meter yet but I glanced at the mileage when I got out of the motor this morning and it was a Christmas mileage shift.

is still nice here mind you, not as nice as yesterday buy reasonable, and i am looking forward to 23:00 when my night shift starts... party, lots of fun fun fun fun, for me then, atleat it should be busy seeing i am one of the priority cars for the week

What is this Priority Car business?? Have you been taking supper into the office staff??

every week 4 cars get priority over other cars from 23:00 to 07:00, i start tonight and end next sunday , thought every cab company had this

No, it's normally the same cars every week at any time.

No Gus , every Sunday 4 new drivers get the priority shift so when they go into a plot they will automaticly go to position 1 in front of any other taxis in the area

How does it work? "Favourite cars", if they give a job to the "favourite" that should have gone to the first car available, then a far better one comes in what happens? do they buffer jobs and pick the highest value job for the "favourite" car?...
