Many drivers don't want to have their own plate. Guy I share cab with used to have his own plate but gave it up. Didn't like the added pressure of repairs, servicing, repairs, tax, repairs, insurance, repairs, licensing, cab test

Some others are like Taylor and nearing retirement age and don't want to own a plate as they want a more relaxed lifestyle

What the above has to do with anything is beyond me. Now how about answering my questions?

Perhaps you wouldn't last two minutes without charging a driver a stiff rental to prop up your pretendy business. Now isn't that the truth, Longshanks?

Now if there is no demand, as you claim, then why is your driver paying a rental to provide a service to a public that doesn't exist? :?

Read what I've highlighted then come back to me.

Some guys don't want to have access to their own plate and are happy to rent.

So fu*king what?

What's wrong Longshanks, are you struggling to come up with genuine answers for two simple questions? #-o

Some drivers would rather pay a rental than have the pressures of repairs, tax, insurance, licensing, servicing etc

Demand or no demand, that's their choice

That choice is still there in a derestricted market. It is generally a cheaper choice.

And it's more than the Hobson's choice it tends to be in a restricted market.

How does the above answer my questions? Your driver's rental would half over night in a de-restricted market. That's if, you could find a driver. And if you couldn't find a driver you would have two choices, work harder or go out the box. Your pretendy business wouldn't last long if you had to do all the driving, now would it Longshanks?

Oh and as for any unmet demand, it would be the last thing on your mind. #-o

So Longshanks, there is plenty demand when it comes to charging a driver in the region of £300 a week, for a rental, but no demand if he wants to drive his own taxi. #-o

Sounds like pretendy businessman thinking to me Longwanks... #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Same old Skull, boring as [edited by admin]. Jizzy Bawz talking [edited by admin] as usual. I know a few drivers that chose not to work Saturday night as they knew Sunday would be a busy shift. And just to blow your job totals in a different direction, I worked Sunday from 10am until 6pm and managed to earn £276 on the meter, now I reckon that's not a bad wedge.

What do you two numb Skulls think?

Aye sure you did...       So what you are saying, is that Longwanks is wrong and there's plenty demand for more taxis? #-o #-o #-o

And that coming from a man who charges his driver £270 a week, to drive his taxi and to have a shot at his wife, because he's never in the hoose. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Kaiser, you made a case for an unmet demand and the de-restriction of the taxi trade with your claims of £35.00 an hour for eight hours, while charging your driver £270 a week for a rental, and a demand you claim that doesn't exist. #-o

And now you expect me to believe that you never got married because no one would have you? :? I can believe that...

You eluded to answer my question thicko. Are you still riding the dogs?

It's another great day in the taxi trade skull. I think I will have a profitable shift once again. Try and answer my question once the fuzziness begins to fade after no doubt another night on the booze trying to forget why you are such a failure.

Is this what's called an oxymoron?

Or does it just prove that you're incapable of properly expressing yourself? Illiteracy is extremely tedious.

Anyway, is someone who is psychologically damaged and relationship challenged a fit and proper person to be conveying members of the public?

The Jiz bag returns. How did you know your neighbours taxi never moved from their drive on Saturday night if you were out working? Let me take an educated guess!

Your not employed anymore!! Am I right Jizzy? Come on let us know!!
