Why dont they do more to combat this ridiculous claims culture? Insurance is a f*****g joke , 8 years NCB and im still paying more every year thanks to the jack asses who put in whiplash claims.

These claims management companies have milked the insurance industry till kingdom come! One of our drivers was in a very light collision behind a Honda who claimed he had to stop sharply cos a fox ran out in the road and now all four occupants are claiming whiplash injuries!

2 problem

1 - hire car at £900 pw they shood pay loss earns at what cabby books say an repair shop who have hire car very slow at repairs

2 - solicitor bill for claim is 75% of total claim so £50000 claim break down to £14k for victim an £36000 for solicitor

i have solution if you agree not to have hire car in event of crash an take a pre agree compo payout for injury type that solicitor no involved in you get discount premium

We had the same round here a last year, one of our drivers rolled into a car carrying 3 people in front of him by rolled I mean just nudging the car in front. It caused "no" damage to either car. Within days there were 3 claims for whiplash being handed into the insurance company. They all got £3,000 each.

I bet they were laughing their bollocks off.

I phoned my insurers to enquire about adding a named driver to the policy, I currently pay just short of £2k pa.

Their new quote - an EXTRA £3,000 p.a.

ok update

the cheapest one is with a company called qudos from denmark an tico not sure about that

the best one at £841 is with lyods of london and is favorite right now

an other one is aviva at £911 an tico negotiating with broker on this one to try to get it down near lyods one

all are a long way from existing broker price an i have to ask why he feel need to load it on like that if i pick man up an fare shood be £15 an i ask for £60 people say i criminal an thief so what diferent with this energy company way of sell insurance i feel like my wallet need to see counciler for sexual crime cos of last 4 years worth of high quotes it seem not insurance company raise price but bad broker an that include tradex an cabshield as well tradex start it by jumping it from £900 to £1500 in one year tico tell them to go do one an tico never use again however cheap an they wind your bonus down to 4 years so when you get quote you can be 5 years short of bonus you already had
