There are probably3 or 4 town in Kent that I could choose to do the knowledge. Any tips on choosing one? Biggest? Most industry? Highest fares? Closest to where I live?

I would start with the biggest firm in the biggest town.

Doesn't necessarily mean you will earn the biggest money there, but you will be able to earn, whilst you look for the firm where you can.

Streamline at Maidstone.

Arrow at Ashford.

Best two I have seen in that neck of the woods.

you could just journey a cab for a while.
then just choose one with a busy station which should tick you over.

In your case it might be worth it for a few weeks while you get yourself sorted.

to start with it will be a bit hard.
but you will take as much as you need. Even if you have to work more hours than you want.
