To get into Australia for work or to stay you need a solid job offer and a work visa, I think thats fair, in Spain theres no benefits till youve had a proper PAYE job for 12 months (which probably needs a work visa?)

The UK's open door policy has helped wreck the economy, UK nationals should get job priority, if an employer has a vacancy they cant fill after 13 weeks they should then, and only then, should an immigrant get it offered, and they should need a work permit and a N.I. number

I dont tar all immigrants with the same brush, ive met hard working EU migrants who take jobs, work hard, suffer abuse, but carry on regardless, they didnt go running to any race relations board either....
