loss of earnings is a tough call, unless you want to put three years accounts in with tax returns, not worth the hassle

as for claiming, its a bit late for 1 man to decide not claiming will reduce premiums

get in there

If people want to claim for injuries they havent got thats up to them, but thinking thats how youllake some cash back aint for me.Also dont cry about premiums going up when you do it ! As for loan vehicles there 120 a day here with cash incentives aswell, you can get one for the most minor of accidents for weeks on end,pi55take if you ask me

loan car @ £200 a day for 42 days = £8,200, loss or earnings for 6 weeks @£6,000.

You can't have both of these.

Skippy wants them.

The last loan car we had was a 62 plate Mondeo @ £220 a day plus VAT. We had it for 7 weeks. Do the maths.

snap had a Peugeot partner on hire at similar prices for 8 weeks over xmas and new year because insurance companies were arguing over settlement

really don't understand the logic of taking 2 weeks to haggle over a £1000 figure when you have a car costing you best part of 2 grand a week in hire charges. insurance companies appear to be ran by idiots and people that don't care about how much money they spend

Like in any business it's all tax deductible.

We are in the wrong business, there's much more money to be made out of the hire of an empty car than there is in the hire of a car loaded with punters. :?

I hired out one of our stretched limos to a claims company a few years ago. We got £36,000 for that.

why? the 3rd party is at fault, get a quote of a proper approved repairer, in hours your insurer should say go ahead, you pay insurance why not claim when you lose nothing? your excess is reclaimable off the 3rd party along with all other costs and any whiplash, or if the quote is less than your excess pay for the repair, get a vat invoice, contact an accident management company and let them get all of it back in one go (that could also be a plan if you havent got NCB protection)

do you remember when you were asking how to fit a meter in your car and i said YOU dont need to know, the installer/supplier does that for you?

well this is the same

if you cough up to get a backstreet repair an an almost new car when the 3rd party is clearly at fault well more fool you mate (seriously)
