You won't loose anything from your NCB but you could loose out if there is any damage you cannot see, get it professionally repaired through your insurance then there will be no comebacks

Which bit don't you get? You will still have your NCB.

If my 6 month old £18K low mileage plated hack had been whacked up the back i doubt id be paying myself or having the rammers insurers dictating to me...

but then again, im just bitter sometimes

if the 3rd party wanted to pay me cash to save his NCB id want £2000...........

a guy barely touched my Tourneo rear bumper corner cap, just marking it so I settled for £150 cash

thanks

You cant "avoid" the insurance companies, the know/hear almost everything

i hope you HAVE notified yours of the accident

they have a massive joint database, all insurers and accident management companies registered can access it, your on it, cos the 3rd pary and his insurers have been it touch with you, so your insurers need to be told your side even if its only a "reportable no-fault" accident that you make no claim for

big brother IS watching you

Wannabe is right. (and I don't often agree with him. )

Personally, I think you are being a mug. But, at the very least, you need to report it as a non-fault accident that you don't want to claim for. That way they can't use it as a stick to beat you with later.
