it seems the above are still going strong despite lots of bad press over the last few years,

just had a call from one of their "Account Managers" trying to get me to part with £700 a year for exclusivity for Glasgow and an estimated 10-15 cracking hires a week.

was more than happy to listen up until the mention of big money for empty promises, asked for a written guarantee for a minimum number of hires a month and they baulked :(

just a wee heads up for anyone on here that hasn't hear of this mob before also go under the name taxiquoter.co.uk

I had a 3 month trial with them a couple of years ago. I got 3 bookings through them and 2 of them were no shows.
If I search for a taxi company in my area on Google, Their listing still comes up. They still have all the details that I gave them but the phone number goes to their office.

your paying 700 pound for about £20 pounds ppc and a £10 website template, great business sense as a seller.

Before these guys can Sucker someone they first need to find a sucker and through desperation for work suckers are on the increase so I guess they'll make money.

Foxtrot32 was on the ball by asking for a written guarantee for a minimum number of hires a month...if they cannot do that then they are just blasting hot air out their Arses..

They phoned me last week I said i was too busy to talk on the phone could they email me some info to have a look at surprise surprise nothing arrived

what you have to remember with set ups like this if they have sales staff cold calling you you can bet that £500 of the fee is their commission and costs

I can't see any reputable coach or minibus operator having vehicles with drivers sitting around to go at a moment's notice!

There's been a running item in RouteOne bus mag about coach broker agencies over the last few months. It turns out there's probably 6 reputable coach brokers in the country; this lot isn't one of them!

had this mob phone me back up again today asking if I want to go ahead and be there rep in the area, have to be quick though as there are other companies interested in being our agent in your area.

again I asked for a written guarantee of payments and a minimum number of transfers to cover the costs they ask for

could they offer that, could they hell

asked about the feedback i'm finding bout them on the web. its all down to jealous people seemingly.

The website that they created for me is still live even though I stopped using them in October 2011. The telephone number has been redirected to somewhere but as yet I haven't checked out where. Last night our enforcement officer was asking whose website it was. I told her that it used to be mine (the description of the vehicles on the site could only be mine) and it turns out that a complaint had been made about whoever it is now taking bookings from the site and using un-plated vehicles or not turning up at all. The council are trying to catch them.
