Other half drive? Mine has had a provisional since 2004 and took driving lessons but gave up, now she has just started again as she wants a job as a courier, if she had passed those nine years ago she could have got a taxi bade and I would still have my hackney plate as she could have drove it while I was waiting for my cataract to be removed as my vision was very bad and my right eye is very badly damaged from an accident some 41 years ago, so I have minimal vision out it, but now she defo wants to drive, unfortunately I only have my ph superb and she wouldn't be covered to drive through the insurance to practise in. And it's a bit big for Learner anyways, does your other half (if you are unlucky enough to have one) drive?

The truth of the matter is - it is not just about being able to drive, it is not rocket science...... but you do need more than anything, people skills. I do believe more than anything, to survive in this game - you need to know about people. Just being able to drive is not enough.

My SWMBO has a held a Taxi/PH badge longer than I have but Driving is not her Main occupation, but its handy that she can help out at busy times or in other emergencies...makes little or no difference to the over all cost of insurance and things...just an extra badge to pay for.
