Been let down by local firms to rent a ph so now thinking of getting my own have been told earnings are around £1000 pw before expenses so the question is whether to take the gamble of financing a car and if so how much to spend iam no mechanic so all work would be at a garage car would be a skoda superb 2010 costing £10000

I've been told the moon is made out of cheese, but I don't go and a buy a mountain of it.

You will not earn a grand a week.

Write that a thousand times.

And how much after HP repayments, Maintainance, Insurance, Vehicle depreciation , Tax on Profits (if any), NI Payments. and other various overheads.

Your £1000 a week will whittle away down to £400 a week before you know where you are, and that's providing you even make £1000 PW
